A Bold Move Pays Off For OL
OL took a chance and it paid off big time at the Las Vegas show. We wanted to break away from the patterns and standard ground cloths and do something different so we partner with one of our favorite vendors Ultra Fabrics. Together we decided to do the entire showroom in Black and White Brisa. Ultra Fabric has the best polyurthane indoor and outdoor fabric. Time and time again we were told this was the best showroom at the market. Vince Shaffer, the Leasing Director for Building B said that “OL pulled off magic this show”. We knew it was a sucess when people had a suprised look on their face that turned to a smile as they turn the corner of the hall and made their entrance. Look for more magic in our High Point showroom this coming October Market, for now enjoy the snapshots.
Michael Wolk designs a Urban Mod Collection for OL
With several designs in the works, OL and Michael Wolk designs tested the waters at the Las Vegas World Market. The response was amazing. Wolk’s designs were described as sexy and sleek. The Pearl barstool and dining was an instant success along with the Wolker dining chair coming in second. Look for more of the Urban Mod designs by Wolk at the High Point October show.
Stanley Jay Freidman joins OL to design a modern collection
OL featured the first of it’s modern collection designed by Stanley Jay Freidman in Las Vegas during the July market. The Proton is a free-form shape with two peices that works well as one half or a whole. As with most of OL products Proton is a multi-functional piece that can be used in a home or public area in a commerical application. OL and ultra fabrics partner at the Las Vegas world market July show
The World Market kicked off building C with a great legend in the music business Rod Stewart. Meanwhile OL and Ultra Fabrics teamed up and created a great showing of beautiful product both in upholstery and covers. We have been planning this for over a year said Michael Bellocchio Vice President and Director of Operations for OL. The entire showroom was Ultra Fabrics products, the crowds went wild over the presentation. We were able to pull off a complete indoor-outdoor line with Brisa and Brisa Soleil . We have a great relationship with Ultra Fabrics and I personaly think they have the best product on the market. it was a no brainer for two companies in the fast lane on design and style to partner.
