Last month, IF+D worked in coordination with "Caesars Entertainment Coordinator", J. Mishaye, to select and provide design products that would revitalize and enhance the “VIP Hospitality Green Room” at the world renowned Colosseum at Caesars Palace Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. The primary objective for IF+D, was to satisfy J. Mishaye’s creative vision …to design a new modern environment that would be in harmony with the creative energy of the artists as well as aesthetically appealing in nature. The end result is a clean upscale look that is artistic and inviting yet stylish.

The “VIP Hospitality Green Room” is a very important and integral part of Caesars’ headliner experience. It is an exclusive and special place with a vast history of catering to “Very Important People” or “Very Impressive People”. Movie stars, rock royalty, power brokers, high rollers, celebrities and executives from every industry, have converged to this sanctuary to escape from the public realm. Stocked with culinary delights, fine wine and champagne…it is the perfect place to socialize, relax and mingle with the headliners.

J.Mishaye’s everyday work evolves around satisfying the specific needs of their world-class headliners and property talent. From Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld, Stevie Nicks, and Carole King to supporting production at boxing and special events. J. Mishaye’s hectic schedule includes fulfilling artists’ hospitality requirements including catering, dressing room accommodations, fighter camp facilitation, and overall contributing to environments that are consistent with high-profile events and VIP performers.

“The responsibilities of my job entails continual multi-tasking”, said J. Mishaye. “I cater to the whims, needs, and requirements of the headliners and also to our VIP lounge performers and property Roman talent. With regards to the VIP Green Room environment, Celine Dion has a very vibrant décor that is specific to her energy. Her interior designer, Normand Leblanc, facilitates the Celine Dion environment which incorporates a beautiful sultry dynamic look. When other headliners are in the Colosseum, it is my goal to create an environment that is specific to their individual energy. Working with IF+D has been a relief…they brought in all the elements for me to create a dynamic atmosphere. The team was on par with our vision from the start and Cale Hughes, Furniture Director of IF+D, worked in unison with me to get the job completed under extreme time restraints. The remarkable Elesgo® Flooring Collections have been main key element in the VIP Green Room transformation and I look forward to working with IF+D on future events”.

The final look started with expert installation of the Elesgo® “Supergloss Dark Bamboo” and “SuperMatte Dark Bamboo” floor by Cover-all, Inc. With that solid foundation in place, comfortable bench-crafted upholstery designed by GoodmanCharlton and manufactured by OuterLimits Furniture and benches + coffee tables from MaxSF were brought in. The look was further accessorized by creative lighting from designer George Kovacs + Pablo Pardo along with a three piece mural by celebrity artist Nick San Pedro.
